Red76. Manufactured for a project Red76 produced for Manifesta 8 in Murcia, Spain in the fall of 2010, these t-shirts were distributed to friends and local vendors. The phrases—bastardized translations of North American political rallying cries —printed onto this series of shirts aimed at provoking consideration of the space in-between groups who wish to form a space of solidarity, yet cannot figure out a means of crossing their shared divide. The shirts, printed in limited quantity, were intended to be worn around Murcia and allow people to recognize their association with an accompanying catalog which was distributed freely around the town by the thousands. The catalog contained texts referencing the desires of the project, as well as links directing readers to further project actions. Size medium only.
